Free Vampire Coloring Pages and Other Paper Crafts for Halloween and Beyond

Halloween is a time for ghosts and ghouls, but our interest in vampires has been going strong for decades with no sign of ceasing. Count Dracula, “Love at First Bite”, the Twilight series, the Cullen’s…our love affair with vampires continues on as the bloodsuckers have gone from scary, to funny, to downright attractive.

The following is a list of places online where you can get vampire coloring pages and other activities that are free to print out.

The first has 28 downloadable pictures of vampires. Print Activities has printable coloring pages of children trick-or-treating in vampire costumes, vampires in coffins, female vampires and lots more. There is also a page with vampire word search puzzles, vampire mazes and a vampire dot-to-dot puzzle.

Coloring.ws has five cute vampire designs to print out. Nothing too scary here, pretty basic.

The Coloring Castle has a “V is for Vampire” coloring page as part of their Halloween alphabet coloring pages. The entire set would make a cute coloring book for kids’ Halloween parties or school activities. In fact, you could print out the entire lot of vampire and Dracula pages to make a really nice themed coloring book for the holiday and maybe to hand out instead of sweets.

FreeColoring.org has a very cute vampire design you can either print out to color or color directly online. Their designs are very whimsical and good quality.

WorksheetUniverse has a friendly vampire holding his pumpkin container and a sign that says “Boo”.

Youthonline.ca has a vampire mouse coloring page. Very basic and low detail. I also found a Dracula bunny design at KidsTurnCentral.

HelloKids has about 11 designs, one or two may be repeats from previous sites listed, but there are some very different ones from what else we found.

Kaboose only has two coloring pages of vampires. You have to check out the first one thought, it has a vampire in his coffin with his teddy bear! Both of them are very cute.

For the more creative types, I found directions for a vampire origami at Origami Club.

And for the most ambitious among you, you can find instructions and patterns for printing out and putting together vampire puppets. Falicious The Vampire puppet is a female vampire who is a long-haired vampire with a keen sense of fashion. The Dazid de Zarko Vampire puppet is a young male vampire with long flowing cape, boots and elaborate mask. These wonderful puppets are available from artist Phee McFaddell.
