Seabourn Cove is the Largest Multi Family Project in the Nation to Receive a National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Gold Level Certification

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) September 04, 2012

Seabourn Cove (http://www.seabournecove.com) is located in Boynton Beach, FL. The project consists of multiple phases totaling 456 units on 23 acres of land. The buildings are amazing two to three stories high featuring single flats around 800 square feet to 3 bedroom units including parking garages. There will be a mixed population of occupants including families to singles.

Obtaining a GOLD level of the National Green Building Standard ICC 700 is a very proud accomplishment. Few multi-family communities attain this caliber of environmental performance, and even fewer have the independent, third-party certification to prove that achievement. Compliance with the National Green Building Standard is especially significant for communities within the Boynton Beach, Florida area. The practices and products selected for this project collectively help protect the health and vitality of Boynton Beach for the enjoyment and use of residents today and in the future. It’s a win-win solution. Residents get a great home where they can live more comfortably, with lower operating costs, in a healthier home and the local community can continue to reap all the rewards and benefits that Boynton Beach has to offer.

The Builder Gulfstream Gardens, owners The Housing Group, and green certifier Two Trails Inc, are all very proud to achieve this level of certification with the National Green Building Standard. “It is very exciting to be a part of these projects, but it is extra special when we can be the first to show others that with hard work and dedication achieving high levels of “Green Certification” is possible”, stated Drew Smith President of Two Trails Inc. Listed below are just a few highlighted features of this project.
